Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Effective April 1, 2025
At QCC Adult & Child Primary Care, our mission is to ensure every patient has access to timely and compassionate care. To maintain efficiency and reduce missed appointment times, we have implemented a No-Show & Late Cancellation Policy. This policy helps us better serve all our patients, particularly in our growing practice in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
Appointment Reminders
We provide automatic appointment reminders via phone call and text 48 hours and 2 hours before your scheduled time to help you prepare and avoid any scheduling conflicts.
Cancellation Notice
We kindly ask that all cancellations or rescheduling be made at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer that time slot to another patient in need of care.
No-Show Fee
If you do not show up for your appointment and do not notify us at least 24 hours beforehand, a $35 no-show fee will be charged. This fee helps offset the cost of unused appointment time.
Late Arrivals
Patients who arrive more than 15 minutes late without notifying us in advance may have their appointment canceled or rescheduled based on the provider's availability that day.
Repeated No-Shows
After three no-shows, we may charge an additional $35 fee and review your status as an active patient in our practice. Consistent missed visits may impact your ability to continue receiving care with us.

Our primary care providers strive to give each patient the attention they deserve. Missed appointments without notice affect access to care for others and disrupt the flow of the clinic. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping our scheduling efficient and fair.
